We are excited to announce the formation of a Parent Forum at St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School. The forum aims to foster stronger connections between the school and our families and promote collaborative efforts to enhance the children’s experience.
As part of this initiative, parents volunteer as their child’s Class Representative. This role is key in ensuring opportunities to constructively discuss the key issues of the moment both from a school perspective and a parent’s one.
What will the role involve?
We believe the Parent Forum will serve as a valuable space for dialogue, ensuring that the school community thrives in an environment of open communication and cooperation.

1. The agenda will be sent out to all parents in advance of each meeting. On the agenda, you will see the topics of conversation for that meeting.
2. Write any comments or suggestions on a slip of paper, remember to include your child's class, and post them into the postbox on the KS1 playground.
3. Our parent representatives will collect these comments/suggestions and share them during the forum meeting.
4. Following the meeting, the minutes will be shared with all parents on the website's Parent Forum page.
