Many thanks to you all for your wonderful support over the past academic year. We have all worked tirelessly this year to ensure that we keep ahead of new expectations of the new curriculum, which becomes "live" on the 1st September - it is a very exciting time! We have new challenges for next academic year building on and improving quality feedback that currently exists within the teaching and learning process. Thank you for making the celebration of Mrs Harwood's retirement so memorable. It just remains for me to wish you all a wonderful, restful and enjoyable summer break.
We are in the process of updating our website to make the new website easier and more direct to use. Thank you for your patience as we move information from this website to the new website.
St John the Baptist is an outstanding single form entry Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School with a close relationship with the parish and with a strong family atmosphere. It strives to support stimulating learning within a safe and loving Christian environment, all the way from the infants to the juniors.
As a Catholic school community, we strive to provide the very best experiences for our children providing them with the skills, knowledge, values and attributes to develop and fulfil their potential. With Christ at the centre, we live out our Gospel values of peace, joy, tolerance, equity, justice, faith, hope and love.
We are very proud of our school and parish family and if you feel you would like to share in our values, our mission, our love of learning and our care for each other, then please don't hesitate to contact us.
