Lunch Menus

Our school lunches are freshly cooked on site using much locally sourced produce.  They meet the high nutritional standards for school food.

As well as having a daily meat and vegetarian option, children are also able to order a jacket potato with beans and cheese or tuna mayo or a cold packed lunch which varies each day from tuna mayo, ham, cheese or egg mayo sandwich

Each meal is priced at £3.00 and for parental ease, payments can be made using our on-line payment system.

All children in years R, 1 and 2 are entitled to receive, and are encouraged to take, their Universal Free School Meal.

Families in receipt of certain benefits may be entitled to receive Free School Meals if their children are in other classes.

Children entitled to Free School Meals qualify for the Pupil Premium grant which is extra money given to the school to help support children.  It is important that even if your child is in Key Stage 1 you apply for Free School Meals even though your child automatically receives the Universal Free School Meal.

Packed Lunches

If your child has a packed lunch we would encourage you to think about the Eatwell Plate when packing your child's lunch.

A balanced and nutritious diet feeds the mind as well as the body.  Research proves that children who eat well perform better at school.  Too many sugary snacks can have a negative impact on children's ability to learn.

As a healthy school, items like crisps, biscuit bars and cake are not permitted at break time, although they are allowed in moderation in lunch boxes.
