Safeguarding
Safeguarding is the responsibility of us all. We aim to support you in your role as parents/carers by providing you with information and contacts for areas of concern. Please know that we are here not just for the children in our school but also for their families. If you are worried or feel that you might need help please speak with your child's class teacher or a member of the Designated Safeguarding Team.
A child is in immediate danger. What should I do?
If a child is in immediate danger, do not hesitate to call 999 and report your concern to the police.
Are you concerned about the safety or welfare of a child?
You don’t need to know everything about the child before contacting Children’s Services. If you are concerned about the welfare of a child, it is important that you talk to someone about this.

Working together can bring about help and support.
Please watch the video below to find out more about Early Help.
Early Help is a multi-agency response to help identify and support children and families in need, helping them to access the right support services at the right time.
Referrals are made typically when concerns are raised by parents about a child’s behaviour or development, for example: sleep routines, getting your child to school, or risk-taking (typically in teenagers)
or
Parents have concerns which they have been trying to cope with for a while or feel worried about, for example: health and well-being, school, friends, angry behaviours. It may be that you find it difficult to set boundaries that your child sticks to.
