It’s coming up to that crazy time of year when, as a parent, you have a lot of things to put in the diary. Therefore, FOSJB thought it might be easiest to give you all the information for the Christmas festivities in one place for easy reference.
1) Fair details (Children will need to be accompanied by parents to this event):
Date: Friday 13th December.
Start: 4 pm
Finishes: 6 pm
What’s On: Food - Pizza, Hot Dogs, Cakes, Drinks – hot and cold
Raffle—Tickets will be sent home in your children’s book bags this week prior to the event. They cost £1 and need to be returned by Wednesday, December 11th. We will also be selling raffle tickets on the night.
Tombolas – Chocolate & Bottles
Stalls – Sprout or Chocolate, Santa Post Box and other stalls
2) Volunteers:
As always, the number of stalls we are able to offer depends heavily on how many volunteers we get to run them.
Firstly, a huge thanks to those who have already volunteered. I hope you know how much it helps the event, therefore the children’s enjoyment, not to mention funds for FOSJB to support the school and it’s aims through the year.
Secondly, we need more to continue to support our fundraising efforts for the school.
Volunteering is a way in which you can make a huge difference. If you want to volunteer, please let one of the committee know, or email fosjb.pta@gmail.com. If you could let us know what times you are available, whether it is helping with set up from 3.30 pm (your children are welcome in the school to help!), running a stall for 30 minutes during the event, or helping pack away after the event.
3) Non-uniform days:
There are two non-uniform days to support both tombola stalls. In return for your child wearing non-uniform, please donate the following items on each of the non-uniform days:
22nd November: Chocolate donations for the tombola, and prizes on stalls
6th December: Bottles (sealed) for our bottle tombola
Please, please, please, if you are able to donate, do, as we can’t run these stalls if we don’t have donations.
We look forward to seeing you on 13th December…and of course, if you have one, please wear a Christmas Jumper!
Kind regards,
The FOSJB
